In my blogs I want to be encouraging so that each one of us will desire to keep track of all our testimonies and answered prayers. I want us to remove the blinders off our eyes that limit us so that our minds are no longer seeing them as either small and big but they are answers to prayers and to be excited.
Each testimony and answered prayer in my eyes is a miracle.
Recently I had a conversation with a friend who was asking why are we not seeing the big miracles of raising the dead, walking on water, especially of what Jesus told us we would be doing.
Matthew 10: 7-8 NASB And as you go, [a]preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven [b]is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.
I shared with her what I heard from a preacher who had asked God about that when she saw an amazing miracle of an infected knee that was four times the normal size go down to the regular size when she prayed. She asked the Lord why do I not see the big miracles more often. The Lord’s answer was that she did not appreciate all the miracles that had passed her by because she was only expecting to see what she had determined was a Big miracle.
The day before this conversation I was on my way to church to pray and at the end of my street in the middle of the boulevard was a grocery cart. I was surprised to see one on my street because of the distance to a grocery store. When I came home from prayer the grocery cart was still there and I said to the Lord that if it was there the next day I would walk it to the store. Later on that day my husband had left the house and when he returned that grocery cart had been delivered to our front yard.
I was so excited that the Lord had someone deliver the grocery cart to my front yard. I always want to have a heart of expectancy and I love surprises and I am thanking the Lord for all.
So I had a miracle that the Lord had someone deliver that cart to my property and I could walk it to the grocery store.
This is the importance of seeing how God sees and being grateful for all.
