What to do through multiple tests!
I just woke up from a dream of:
“Oh my goodness what would I do if on this Test blog, which was really just a Test when creating my blog to teach me how to do the blog and there was very little in the blog except the title “Test and the beginning of a truth that God promises does trials and tribulations and to count it all joy etc.” What would I do to correct it if it got published how could I pull through the world of computer space, air whatever it is called and pull it back so that I could unpublish it and all these thoughts of: Lisa what do you do when you speak words and they are out of your mouth so fast and you cannot pull them back and someone gets hurt, offended and then either offense comes in, a war starts of silency, or as in a true political situation it could be an actual war between countries or within a country like a civil war. For example someone pulled the gun and did not mean to when countries are both sitting silently, sweating, facing one another just waiting to see how this encounter will go. Oh my goodness that can sometimes sound like many family dinners, outings where there actually has not been peace or true Godly love for years or even kindness. Many go to these with anxiety in their heart, they have prayed almost worry prayers for sometime before the encounter because they find these encounters especially like Christmas gatherings stressful and they are never sure of how this one is going to go. Or what do you do when medical situations come up again like heart attacks, strokes, rare diseases, unknown job losts over and over, divorces, deaths, oh my goodness the list is long? Everyone could fill in their own tests or tribulations but what do you do when somehow the published button is pushed that second time and you just cannot pull it back? I actually think there should be multiple question marks after that previous sentence of what do I do!
Well thankfully God’s Word tells us that yes we will have trials, temptations, tribulations, valleys of the shadow of deaths But God tells us to go THROUGH in Psalm 23:
Psalms 23: 4 NKJV Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
I had to write out that Psalm vs. 4 from the NKJV because the first word says Yea, like who the heck says Yea when going through trials, shadows of death but as we read further it also reads Through. God does not want us to take up home or live in the valleys of death, God almighty wants us to be an excellent soldier who keeps walking through, we may have battle scars that we have created or they were inflicted upon us.
So what do we do if we created them such as our mouth opened up again at the wrong time with inconsiderate words and someone is offended. Well first of all we have to ask forgiveness and say we are wrong not only to God but to those people. Sometimes what is easier to do, I have no idea both are heartbreaking because I have offended the Holy Spirit who so preciously dwells within me and I have offended others. I may have prayed the scripture multiple times for God to set a guard over my mouth but once again it happened:
Psalm 141: 3 NKJV Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips.
So I ask forgiveness to the Lord who forgives right away which I am very grateful for however that may not be the case when you ask others. You can ask forgiveness more than once but if forgiveness has not been released to you and you cry and cry, you must forgive yourself and pray for reconciliation not only with the people here but also for reconciliation between everyone with the Lord. Always remember that He loves you and them more than you could possibly could because He came to give us reconciliation:
2 Corinthians 5: 18-19 NKJV 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not [a]imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
God also tells us in the first chapter of James 1: 2-8 how to count it all joy or a sheer gift and then what will happen to us which is our faith life is shown for the true colour, to pray to the God the Father because through this the plan is to become more mature, complete and lacking nothing:
James 1: 2-8 MSG 2-4 Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. 5-8 If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.
So I still may not know exactly how to pull a published blog back through computer space to correct it as of know since this is only my tenth blog but I will learn more. However I do know that when trials, tribulations and tests come my way, hallelujah, I have to keep walking through, to consider it a gift or count all joy because my faith life is brought to colour and to pray that as I pray and submit myself to God, knowing that He has reconciled me back to Him, woo hoo, I can believe and trust that reconciliation will come for my family members because He loves them more that I ever could and trust for family reconciliation and to keep praying that God will set a guard over my mouth and to keep watch over my lips because my prayers are heard, He knows my heart, He sees all my tears, He wants me to lay them all at His feet and trust Him. He loves me more than I could even imagine, I have a picture of His love when I see that cross but I also see an empty tomb because Jesus has risen from the dead and death has no more sting. Thank you Jesus.
Father I pray for all who have pushed the published button of either opening their mouths with wrong words and family wars created or the fire was kindled once again or the published button of sickness, loss of jobs, loss of homes, loss of marriages, deaths, it does not matter what the accidentally published button is I pray that Lord we would all know that we are to keep walking through, not get stuck, keep walking towards You Lord, trusting You, to consider it a sheer gift because our faith life will be revealed and Lord I want our faith lives to shine brightly for You to be a witness for others so that we can be disciples in Your plan of reconciling the world back to You. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
